Dr. Bernie Haberman is a chiropractor passionate about helping people take charge of their health and achieve their greatest vitality. He enjoys working with individuals who are tired of the restrictions caused by symptoms such as back pain, headaches, or low energy, and who want to restore function and wellbeing.
Dr. Bernie began his healthcare journey as a Remedial Massage Therapist, working both in Australia and abroad. During this time, he had the opportunity to support elite athletes, including tennis player Alicia Molik, Olympic Gold Medallist Alisa Camplin, and over ten years with the Collingwood Football Club. Inspired by his personal experiences with chiropractic and by observing the results achieved by his wife, Dr. Vanessa, he returned to study chiropractic at age 35, graduating from RMIT in Melbourne in 2014.
Since 2020, Dr. Bernie has been a valued member of Chiropractic Life. He is co-owner of Revive Chiropractic, Melbourne, alongside Dr. Vanessa, a partnership that began in 2004. In practice, he draws on his extensive experience to provide evidence-informed, patient-centred care that focuses on long-term health and spinal function.
Dr. Bernie is also deeply committed to education and coaching. He has over 25 years of experience playing and coaching Australian Rules football, guiding young athletes not only to improve their game but also to grow as well-rounded individuals.
Outside the practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children on their property in the Macedon Ranges. He is an avid Harry Potter fan, a passionate Test cricket follower, a dedicated music lover (especially Guns N’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction), and an experienced traveller, having explored 32 countries.
Dr. Bernie’s philosophy is simple: “Give for the sake of giving, serve for the sake of serving, and love for the sake of loving.”

We start by taking the time to understand you.
➡️ Your health history and current concerns
➡️ How your body has been feeling and functioning
➡️ What you’ve tried before
From there, we carry out a series of assessments to get a clear picture of what’s happening.
➡️ Posture and movement assessment
➡️ Spinal and neurological checks
➡️ Additional testing if required
👉 The goal is simple: understand the root cause - not just the symptoms.

Once we’ve gathered the information, we’ll explain everything clearly.
➡️ What we’re seeing
➡️ What may be contributing to your symptoms
➡️ What your options are moving forward
If clinically appropriate, this may include:
➡️ A personalised care plan
➡️ Recommendations based on your goals
👉 No confusing jargon - just clear, honest answers.

If chiropractic care is appropriate for you, we’ll begin care.
➡️ Gentle, specific adjustments (if clinically safe)
➡️ Guidance on how to support your progress
➡️ A clear plan so you know what comes next
👉 The focus is helping your body move and function the way it’s designed to.
